  • The Level 1 Award in Understanding the PREVENT and Safeguarding Strategies is designed for everyone for the purpose of raising awareness and to help prevent radicalisation. The course enables individuals in understanding the purpose of the Prevent Strategy and radicalisation, helping to safeguard children and young people.
  • This qualification effectively collaborates essential anti-radicalisation (PREVENT) training, cyber safety awareness and further traditional safeguarding topics into a single qualification package.
  • This course is accredited to The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the the regulatory body for this qualification is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Oshtree will conduct an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
